Matthew Clarke is a Chartered Electrical Engineer with 32 years of experience in transport technology. Matthew lives in Sutton Coldfield and is based in Birmingham. He graduated from Bradford in 1983 and designed telephones and radar equipment before joining the Department for Transport. He has technical experience across a range of transport-related specialisms, including ticketing, electric vehicles, signs, signals, comms, road user charging, enforcement and parking guidance. He has prepared strategies, studies, standards, specifications and designs and he has managed delivery contracts.
